Values like ethics and morality are very out of fashion these days and in certain work environments. Thinking you can manage situations and make decisions without underlying values is an illusion.

Every company, like every person, should be founded on clear, shared values. Only those who share those same values can feel comfortable working for that company or befriending that person. Having values is the foundation of everything.
